Ute Traugott, MD, FAAN is a neurologist who specializes in multiple sclerosis and serves patients through White Plains Hospital Physician Associates. She is the director of the multiple sclerosis center and is accepting new patients. Dr. Traugott received her medical degree with highest honors from the University of Vienna, School of Medicine and completed her residency in neurology and psychiatry at the University of Vienna.

Dr. Traugott conducts a team-based approach to multiple sclerosis care. Her background includes research on the immunology and immunopathology of MS and related diseases conducted at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She was awarded Fellow Status to the American Academy of Neurology for her MS research that provided the first detailed description of inflammatory cells in active MS lesions, work that helped classify MS as an autoimmune disease and contributed to the development of disease-modifying treatments.
